Q. Tell me five things about Patti or the book I wouldn't have known if I didn't read these FAQ'S.
A. OK....here goes....
1. The cover for her book was created by Jim Lebbad of Lebbad Design, http://lebbadesign.com. Jim is an award-winning (and brilliant) artist and graphic designer. He and Patti have been friends since high school and she was extremely honored to have him do the cover for her book.
2. It took Patti over a year and a half to complete all the interviews for her book (there were over 100 sons, daughters, grandchildren, and professionals). After that, she spent the next 12+ months writing for 15-18 hours a day, editing (seven rewriters!), finalizing the layout and completing the steps to publish the book.
3. Patti has a degree in International Relations from Warren Wilson College, a small, amazing liberal arts college located in Swannanoa, North Carolina (just outside of Asheville). http://warren-wilson.edu.
4. Patti is certified as a Joy! coach, massage therapist, infant massage instructor and firewalk instructor! She says that walking 20 feet in barefeet across a hot fire is nothing compared to what a caregiver goes through on a daily basis.
5. Patti's still lives on the street she grew up on in a small town in New Jersey.
